As HR Generalist at Teach Plus Khouri will lead the day-to-day administration, serving as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and HR systems management. She will also collaborate closely with the Managing Director of People to drive staff engagement initiatives and advance continuous improvements in our people and talent systems—all in support of cultivating a positive, inclusive, people-centered, and high-performing workplace culture.
Khouri brings more than a decade of experience in human resources, with a strong track record of supporting nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. She has partnered with teams to strengthen people operations, ensure compliance, and elevate overall HR strategy. In addition to her consulting work, Khouri has led internal HR departments, spearheading initiatives such as compensation planning, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Education has always been Khouri’s first love, and joining Teach Plus has felt like coming home—a place where her dedication to people-centered practices aligns with her deep passion for educational equity. She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and is committed to building equitable, inclusive workplaces where every employee feels valued and supported.
Outside of work, Khouri is an active volunteer with civic organizations in her community and brings a thoughtful, people-first lens to everything she does.
