Natalie is the Teach Plus Texas Policy Manager. She will manage the newly created Teach Plus Texas Teacher Advisory Group in partnership with the Texas Education Agency to provide critical feedback on statewide policy initiatives and TEA strategic initiatives.
Natalie is a former educator with Dallas ISD where she spent 16 years working as an elementary school teacher. She has a Master Teacher Designation from the Texas Education Agency and a distinguished teacher rating with Dallas where she spent much of her career mentoring teachers and serving as a liaison between teachers and district administration regarding the Teacher Excellence Initiative. As a former Teach Plus fellow with Teach Plus DFW and Teach Plus Pennsylvania, she advocated for equitable funding as well as teacher compensation and investments in early childhood. She has a Master of Education degree from the University North Texas at Dallas and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Public Policy.
