Rachel Rigsby is a skilled educator with extensive experience in both secondary and higher education. Having worked as a History Professor at Reach University’s Oxford Teachers College, she is dedicated to teaching and mentoring future educators and supporting student learning both inside and outside the classroom.
Rachel began her teaching career at the Alternative Learning Center, where she developed a passion for creating inclusive and effective learning environments. She spent 15 years at Little Rock Central High School as an AP World History and AP Human Geography teacher. Her tenure there was marked by a commitment to creating engaging and effective instructional materials, fostering critical thinking skills, and developing writing strategies that helped students achieve a deep understanding of course content.
Rachel holds a Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from Hendrix College.
