Faith Izuegbu is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Faith teaches 6th grade English language arts and reading intervention at YES Prep West, where she also coaches cheerleading. Faith is a Teach For America alumna and serves as a school operations manager with TFA Houston Institute. She is a member of Leadership for Educational Equity, grade level chair at her campus, and an instructional coach with Breakthrough Houston. She graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Youth and Community Studies and a minor in Educational Psychology.
