Adelina Vargas is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas DFW Policy Fellow. Adelina is a math instructional lead teacher at Alex W. Spence Middle School and TAG Academy. A distinguished teacher and an Ed Fellow Teaching Trust Alum 18, Adelina has worked with an ACE campus to transform an improvement-required campus to a met-standard campus. While at ACE, she received the Rotary Club of Dallas’ Middle School Teacher 2017-2018 Self Service Award. Adelina holds a double BA in Mathematics and Spanish from Texas Tech University and an MEd in Education Leadership and Policy from Southern Methodist University.
