Amanda Jeffrey is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Berkeley Teacher Leader. Amanda teaches in the kindergarten cross-categorical special education classroom at Whittier Primary School, where she serves on the school improvement team and is a mentor for new staff. Amanda has been a member of the problem solving team and has co-taught in grades kindergarten through 5th. Amanda is the Membership Chair for the Berkeley Education Association. She graduated from Elmhurst College with a BA in Special Education and received her MA in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
