Amanda Meadows is a 2020-21 Texas Policy Fellow. She teaches 4th grade math at IDEA Eastside Academy, where she sponsors Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas at Eastside. She serves on the IDEA Teacher Advisory Council and as a Grade Team Lead. Before her journey began in Texas, Amanda served in the position of Multi-Classroom Leader at an Indianapolis charter, teaching scholars and coaching teachers on effective classroom management and instruction delivery. She received a BS in Education from Indiana University and is currently working to complete her master’s in Education Leadership.
