Andrew Lutz is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow. Andrew teaches 8th grade science at Summit Middle School in Fort Wayne, IN, where he serves as the school’s PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) coach. He is an assistant football coach at Woodside Middle School and previously taught 7th and 8th grade science at Kekionga Middle School, Lane Middle School, and Ben Geyer Middle School in Fort Wayne Community Schools. He has served as department head, academic team coach, and on the schools’ improvement teams as well as PBIS leadership teams. Andrew graduated from Indiana Purdue University at Fort Wayne with a BS in Biology and received his Med in Education Theory from Indiana Wesleyan University.
