Archer Bunner

Archer Bunner teaches Mathematics in the Special Education Department and facilitates a Conflict Resolution and Leadership course at Richmond High School in Richmond, IN. Archer also teaches in the Alternative Education Program and the Richmond Graduation Academy which includes online learning in all subject areas. Archer is the Special Education Department Chair at RHS and serves as a building representative in the local union.  Archer was named the Secondary Teacher of the Year in the 2018-2019 school year for Richmond Community Schools and was honored with the Professional Character Award for Wayne County in 2019. Archer is currently the President of the local chapter of DKG, a professional organization for women teachers, and is President of a volunteer-run non-profit called the Alternatives to Violence Project – USA.  Archer received a BA (2011) and MAT (2014) from Earlham College in Richmond, IN. Archer has teaching licenses in Secondary Social Studies and Mathematics along with K-12 Special Education, Mild Intervention.
