Ashley Learned is a 2020-21 Texas Policy Fellow. She teaches 3rd grade math at IDEA Eastside Academy in San Antonio, Texas. Ashley is a founding staff member at Eastside and serves as the 3rd grade team leader and the content leader for the math department. Ashley was awarded the “Sweating the Small Stuff” award from her campus during the 2018-2019 school year, is an IDEA Master Teacher, and served as a fellow for IDEA’s pilot Teacher Policy Leadership program in the 2019-2020 school year. Ashley graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies.
