Betrice Jones is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow. Betrice is an instructional coach for Booker T. Washington STEM Academy, where she is the Lego robotics club sponsor. Betrice has previously taught grades kindergarten to higher education. She served as a district STEM committee member, coordinated and presented at family literacy and math nights, and worked as a peer mentor coach for math teachers. She graduated from Illinois State University with a BA in Art and received her MAT in Teaching from Aurora University. She is pursuing her EdD in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis.
