Bobbie Lynn “Coach” Weir is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas DFW Policy Fellow. Bobbie Lynn teaches the Hotel Internship Program at local hotels for Richardson High School. She is a recipient of RISD Career Connector Award, JA Dallas Teacher-of-the-Year Award, and Texas Hospitality Educator of the Year. The Texas Education Agency selected Bobbie Lynn to serve on the Tri-Agency Summit/Advisory Committee and previously on the CTE Mentor Training Program. Bobbie Lynn became a teacher after 20 years of corporate-level business experience with entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies in marketing, management, and business development. She received a BBA in Marketing from Abilene Christian University and a Dual Alternative Teacher Certification in CTE for Business/Marketing from Region XIII in Austin where she earned a CTE Career Pathways Leadership Certification. She has earned a CTE Career Pathways Leadership Certification from National Career Pathways Network.
