Brandon Gleason is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow. Brandon teaches 7th and 8th grade science at Danville Community Middle School in Danville, IN, where he is the science department head and sponsors the science club, chess club, student council, and is a coach for the Science Academic Team. Brandon is a member of Danville’s Community Education Foundation and is a new teacher mentor. He has previously taught K – 6 in Georgia, Minnesota, and South Korea s. While he was teaching in South Korea, he coached several students to the title of Grand Champion in debate and speech. Brandon graduated from Hamline University with a BA in Psychology and Education.
