Christina Tometchko is a 2020-21 Texas Policy Fellow. She teaches Introduction to Rhetoric and Composition and AP English Language at Yes Prep Brays Oaks in Southwest Houston. She is a proud 2015 Teach For America Houston Corps Member and has been privileged to loop with her first class of students since they were in 6th grade. Christina has served as a Grade Level Chair and Testing Coordinator, and is currently a co-sponsor of both the Girl Scouts and GSA clubs on campus. Outside of school, Christina has served as a Corps Member Advisor and Secondary Humanities Content Facilitator for Teach For America. She graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in Political Science with a Public Policy Focus and a Minor in Communications.
