Cindy Rice is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow. Cindy is a parent coordinator at Mounds Early Learning Center /Head Start in Mounds, Illinois. She has previously taught at Tips Leaning Tree and worked at Mounds Early Learning Center as an Early Head Start teacher. As parent coordinator, she is active in the community and works with the teaching staff to plan events that involve adults and children. She earned a BA from Ashford University and a degree in Associate of Applied Science/Early Childhood and an Associate of Science from Shawnee Community College.
