Amanda Cloutier

Amanda Chiatovich Cloutier is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Amanda is an 8th grade math and science teacher, grade-level department lead, and COST representative at Pinon Mesa Middle School in Phelan, California. She focuses on facilitating learning through hands-on instruction and group activities. She has held elementary, site, administrative, and district site leadership positions. Amanda has received the Richard Holm Award for her involvement with children in her community, Volunteer of the Year Award, and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award. Amanda has volunteered for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department for 15 years and is currently the Commander of the West Valley Mounted Posse and Medical Reserve Corps. She earned her BA in liberal studies and teaching credentials from California State University, San Bernardino.
