Corinne Biswell

Corinne Biswell is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Corinne is an agricultural science educator for West Prairie CUSD #103 in the rural community of Sciota, Illinois, where she teaches veterinary science, agricultural business, agricultural communications, and introductory agricultural courses for grades 8-12th. Corinne is the co-advisor for the West Prairie Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter and is the data administrator for her middle school’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Support program. She served as president of the Illinois Association of Vocational Agriculture Teachers and worked with the Rural School and Community Trust and the USDA to engage in international agricultural education experiences. Her agriculture program was selected as the Illinois Outstanding Middle/Secondary program in 2018. Corinne earned a BS in Agriculture Education from the University of Illinois, an MS in Educational and Interdisciplinary Studies, and an MS in Educational Leadership from Western Illinois University.
