David Carroll is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. David teaches career and technical education for high school seniors with disabilities at Clifton Career Development School. He serves as the lead mentor teacher, social emotional learning (SEL) facilitator, and special education department chair on his campus. He was the 2017 campus Teacher of the Year. David is a National Board Certified Teacher, a Novo SEL Innovation Grant Recipient, and a Trust Based Relationship Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner. He graduated from Southwestern University with a BA in English and received his MEd in Literacy Education from Texas State University.
