Diana Heard is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana PLC Team Leader. Diana teaches 4th-5th grade special education at Pettit Park Technology Academy in Kokomo, IN. She has taught in self-contained special education rooms and now is a resource room and co-teacher for the 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Diana works in an after-school program that focuses on STEM, homework, and physical movement. She serves as a mentor teacher for new teachers at Pettit Park and on the social services committee, student intervention team, student council sponsor, and as treasurer of the PTA. Diana graduated from Tipton High School and Ball State University with a BA in mild interventions.
