Edwina Lucero is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Edwina teaches high school music at STRIVE Prep Excel High School in Denver, Colorado, directing the beginning, intermediate, advanced, and honors level choirs. She also serves as the instructional coach for electives courses and has helped to lead an effort to promote community amongst the two schools located on the campus. She has co-directed the yearly spring community musical for the last three years. Edwina earned a BME (Bachelors of Music Education) and MME (Masters of Music Education) from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
