Erin Gallimore

Erin Gallimore is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. Erin teaches 1st grade at Glenwood Springs Elementary School where she shares a collective leadership role in the design team and is a mentor teacher for the Education Program at Colorado Mountain College. She has published in the American Annals of the Deaf and teaches English as a Second Language to adults. Previously, Erin taught kindergarten at Glenwood Springs Elementary School and was a deaf and hard of hearing teacher with Mountain BOCES, servicing students grades preschool through high school.  She earned her BS in Special Education: Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Illinois State University and her MAEd in Education, Equity and Cultural Diversity from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She is pursuing her EdS in Educational Leadership and Special Education at the University of Northern Colorado.
