Erin Jackle is a 2018-2019 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Fellow. Erin is the transition facilitator for early learners for School District U-46 in Elgin, Illinois, where she supports students, teachers, and families during the transition into kindergarten. Erin serves on the early childhood social emotional leadership committee, the districtwide equity committee, and is the co-chair of the special education committee. Previously, Erin taught early childhood special education for nine years and served as an instructional coach for three years. Erin has presented professional development for teachers at the Illinois Head Start Association, Illinois Computing Educators, and the Birth-3rd Continuity Conference. Erin received her BS in Early Childhood Education and her MEd in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
