Gayle Davis is a 2020-21 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow. She is a middle school teacher of Problem Based Technology & Project Lead The Way at Barker Middle School in Michigan City, Indiana. She is in charge of the Barker News Network and runs the broadcast program in the mornings. Gayle has founded and advised several clubs on campus including the robotics and theater clubs and Club Discovery. Gayle previously taught high school math at Dunes Lutheran High School. Gayle has BS degrees in theology, organization management, and economics, she holds a masters degree in education and a masters and PhD in theology from various institutions. She also has a doctorate degree in musicology and is working on the dissertation for her final degree as a doctoral candidate in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University.
