Jacklyn Scarsella is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Change Agent Teacher Leader. Jacklyn teaches 7th grade English language arts at Adlai Stevenson Elementary School on the south side of Chicago, where she is also a Calm Classroom coordinator and the 5th-8th grade student council sponsor. Jacklyn has been awarded several grants that have allowed her students to receive supplies. She graduated from St. Xavier University with a BA in Elementary Education and is pursuing an MEd from the American College of Education in STEM Leadership.
