Jacqueline Marie Portee is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Change Agent Teacher Leader. Jacqueline is the middle school reading teacher at George Leland STEM School where she is also a member of the instructional leadership team. Jacqueline is an active participant in Educators for Excellence and has been featured in the E4E blog “Teachers Talk Back” focusing on advocacy for special education. She was a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher award by Congressman Danny Davis. Jacqueline received her BA in Business Administration from Roosevelt University and received her teacher certification and her MA in Administration from Concordia University.
