Jerome (Flew) Flewelling is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Indiana Teaching Policy Fellow. Jerome teaches physics at Crown Point High School and is the 2018 Indiana State Teacher of the Year. Jerome was named Indiana Physics Teacher of the Year by the Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Physics Teachers and was recently inducted into the Indiana University Armstrong Fellowship. As assistant director of the theatre productions, he encourages students to step into their courage on stage and off, in and out of the classroom. Jerome received his BS in Physics and Education from Taylor University.
