Jessica Kibblewhite

Jessica Kibblewhite is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow. Jessica is a middle school social science and science teacher at National Teachers Academy, a CPS school located on Chicago’s near south side. She is a peer teacher coach and is on the school’s efficacy leadership team, grading committee, and equity team. Jessica is a student voice advocate and facilitates the NTA Student Congress. She is a member of Illinois Leaders for Educational Equity. In 2018, she received an NEH grant at Duke University to develop a curriculum on social change and grassroots movements in America, 1920-1970. Jessica teaches courses on social justice and social transformation at Loyola University Chicago. She received a BA in Africana Studies from Vassar College and her MEd in Learning Behaviors from Loyola University Chicago.
