Jonathan Baymon is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Jonathan is a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher at Hillside School in Hillside, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Jonathan is the facilitator of Hillside’s PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Tier I team and a member of the school’s PERA (Performance Evaluation Reform Act) Joint committee. He is the advisor to student council, the multicultural club, and National Geographic Bee. Jonathan holds a BA in History from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, an MA in Secondary Education from Depaul University, and an MA in School Leadership from Concordia University in Chicago.
