Jordan Hohm

Jordan Hohm is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow. Jordan teaches economics and personal finance, leadership and job skills, and a course that helps students struggling academically to get back on track to graduate at Wyvetter Younge Alternative Center in East Saint Louis, Illinois. He serves on the data team and leadership team at Wyvetter Younge and participates in the district’s pilot program for competency-based education. Jordan has taught college courses at Greenville University and the men’s federal prison in Greenville, Illinois. Prior to moving to the midwest in 2017, Jordan taught in North Carolina, where he was a Kenan Fellow, IEL Education Policy Fellow, and the 2016 Alamance-Burlington Teacher of the Year. He graduated with a BA in History Education from Greenville University and an MEd in Diversity and Equity from the University of Illinois.
