Julie Planera is a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Julie teaches 8th grade reading, writing, and social studies at Brooke Charter School in Roslindale, Massachusetts. Throughout her career, Julie has served as data coach, new teacher teacher developer and mentor, school-wide lead teacher, and ELA department head. She also has coached field hockey, cross-country, and track. Julie graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a degree in English Education and an MEd in Moderate Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders.
