Katharine Weigle is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Katharine teaches 7th grade humanities at Prospect Hill Academy (PHA) in Cambridge. She has been a collaborative inquiry leaders member and a member of the school culture committee. Prior to teaching at PHA, she taught in a self-contained classroom at Hillcrest Educational Centers Brookside ITU Campus, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, where she was a member of the science curriculum team and was trained in therapeutic crisis intervention. Previously, she taught 6th-9th grade language arts at Crittenton Community School, in Columbus, Ohio, where she was a content team lead and a member of the building leadership team. Katharine holds a BA in English from The Ohio State University and earned her teaching credentials at Ashland University.
