Kathleen Kuempel teaches diverse learners in grade K-8 at O’Keeffe School of Excellence, where she is also case manager. A National Board Certified teacher, Kathleen is the co-lead of the multi-tiered system of supports committee and leads the diverse learner professional learning community. She has previously taught diverse learners at Dulles School of Excellence, where she was a mentor teacher for Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) residents. Kathleen holds a BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and an MS in Special Education from Duquesne University.
