Keisha Rembert is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Keisha is an 8th grade English and US history teacher at Clifford Crone Middle School in Naperville, Illinois. She serves as a member of the district’s Curriculum Writing Committee, has participated in several school and district initiatives related to diversity and literacy, and is a member of her school’s Instructional Leadership Team. She is a member of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center Educator Advisory Council and the National Council of Teachers of English’s Committee Against Racism and Bias. Keisha received a BA in English from Boston College and an MA in Elementary Education from Chicago State University.
