Kiersten Jacoby is a 2019 Teach Plus New Mexico Teaching Policy Fellow. Kiersten teaches 9th grade biology and dual credit anatomy & physiology at Gallup High School, where she has developed a Health Pathway program. Kiersten is the core team leader for the science department and has led professional development on The Next Generation Science Standards and the NM STEM Ready! standards. She previously taught anatomy & physiology and biology at the University of New Mexico-Gallup. Kiersten is a National Board Certified Teacher in the biological sciences. She graduated from California Polytechnic University with a BS in Equine Science and an MS in Equine Exercise Physiology.
