Laura Deadessis is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Berkeley Teacher Leader. Laura teaches 6th grade social studies at Northlake Middle School. Laura has worked in education since 2008, beginning her career as special education program assistant and long term substitute in CCSD15. Laura has worked at Huntington Learning Center and homeschool-taught for a family. She graduated from Illinois State University with a BA in Middle Level Education.
