Lisset Rosales is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow. Lisset is a 3rd grade bilingual educator at Cleveland Elementary School on the Northwest side of Chicago. She is an active member of the bilingual committee and collaborates on the instructional leadership team and the multi-tiered systems of support team, where her focus is on improving academic services for her school’s diverse bilingual learners. In 2018, she was nominated for the Golden Apple Award and received the 2018 Golden Apple Teacher of Distinction Award. Lisset earned a BA in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Loyola University with Endorsements in English Language and Social Science and has received a grant to work on her MA as a Learning Behavior Specialist at Chicago State University.
