Mathew Temme is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana PLC Team Leader. Mathew is a 7th grade math teacher at Bon Air Middle School in Kokomo, IN. He spent the first nine years of his career teaching 7th grade math at Maple Crest Middle School and also previously taught high school mathematics, including algebra 1, geometry, and algebra 2 for 13 years at McKinley Alternative School. At McKinley, he founded the McKinley Fishing Adventures program, which annually took a group of underprivileged students to Canada for a 10-day wilderness adventure during summer break. Mathew holds a BA in Secondary Mathematics Education from Ball State University and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University.
