Natia McLendon is a 2023-2024 Michigan Teacher Leadership Collaborative Member and an instructional coach at Detroit Leadership Academy in Detroit, Michigan. She has taught high school ELA for 13 years. She was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2019 at Detroit Leadership Academy, and Rookie of the Year in 2012 at Robichaud High School. She earned a BA in education from Western Michigan University and an MA in sociology from University of Michigan, Dearborn.
