Paul Oser is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Paul counsels 9th-12th grade students at New America School, a Jefferson County Charter for over-aged, under-credited students in Lakewood, Colorado. Paul leads his staff in developing multi-tiered systems of support and utilizing a credit redemption system to elevate student achievement. He was a bilingual high school teacher of English and science for 12 years. Paul is the sole proprietor of Dream Into Action, a student life-coaching service and works for Abrakadoodle as an art teacher. Paul graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in English Literature and Humanities and received his MEd in school counseling from the University of Phoenix.
