Rachel Derico is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana Change Agent Teacher Leader. Rachel is a 6th grade teacher at Floro Torrence Elementary School 83 in Indianapolis Public Schools, where she serves as the volleyball and basketball coach. Rachel previously taught middle school math at Aspire Charter Academy, 5th grade at George and Veronica Phalen Elementary School, and chemistry at LakeRidge Community School LakeRidge New Tech. Rachel holds a BA in General Studies from Indiana University and an MA in Leadership from Calumet College of St Joseph.
