Rebecca Jontos is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Rebecca teaches grades K-5 general music at Alfred S. Letourneau Elementary School in Fall River, Massachusetts, where she serves as a member of the instructional leadership team and the social-emotional learning team. She serves as a co-facilitator for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education music standards revision and as a lead music teacher for Fall River Public Schools. Rebecca is a member of the National Association for Music Education and has previously taught general music and chorus at Henry Lord Middle School. She graduated from Rhode Island College with a BS in Music Education and received her MEd in Music Education from Boston University.
