Renée Nabors

Renée Nabors is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Renée is a 1st grade lead teacher, kindergarten math teacher, and gifted and talented program coordinator at KIPP Sunshine Peak Elementary, a bilingual public charter school serving students in ECE-3rd-1st grade in Southwest Denver. Renée has led implementation of elementary math curriculum at her previous school in Denver Public Schools and at KIPP Sunshine Peak Elementary. She previously taught kindergarten in a bilingual education setting and math intervention in grades 2-5. Renée graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in International Affairs with a minor in Education and a certificate in South Asian studies and earned her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education at Denver.
