Renee Paterson is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellow. Renee is the magnet theme coordinator and AVID coordinator at Robert O. Gibson Leadership Academy. She has previously served as a social studies and ELA teacher, a Title I Learning Strategist, Title I HOPE site contact, and as school organizational team chair. Renee is a member of the Nevada Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Teacher Advisory Cabinet. She graduated with a BA in Social Work from California State University-Sacramento, an MA in Teaching from Willamette University, and an MEd in School Leadership from Southern Utah University.
