Reuben Henriques is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Reuben teaches AP World History at KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate (KALC) in Lynn, Massachusetts, where he also serves as the chair of the history department and an instructional coach. He has previously taught courses in US History and Pre-AP World History. While at KALC, Reuben has worked to expand access to and achievement in AP history classes. Reuben has designed a model world history curriculum for use across the KIPP network, led school- and regional-level professional development for history teachers, and served as an AP reader. He graduated from Brown University with a BA in Political Science and earned an MA in Effective Education from the Sposato Graduate School of Education.
