Rikii Gipson is a 2018-2019 Teach Plus Policy Fellow. Rikii is a 4th grade ELAR master teacher at Pershing Elementary School in the San Antonio ISD. As a master teacher, she works with low performing students to close academic gaps. Rikii spent her first three years of teaching at Park Village Elementary School in the Judson ISD where she was named Distinguished Educator during her 2nd year of teaching. She holds a BA in history with a minor in English, a MS in reading literacy, and is currently working towards a doctorate in education.
