Ronak Shah is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus National Senior Writing Fellow. Ronak is a 7th grade science teacher at KIPP Indy College Prep Middle School in northeast Indianapolis. He has been teaching middle school for ten years, and has written on a range of topics related to education, including food access, environmental literacy, science education policy, and standardized testing. Ronak graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Cognitive Science and holds an MA in Teaching from Marian University. He is an alumnus of Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellowship and has previously served as Senior Fellow with that program. His op-eds have been published in Chalkbeat and the Indianapolis Business Journal, among others.
