Sarah Temple is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. Sarah is the Dean of Pathway Learning at Vista Ridge High School (VRHS) in Colorado Springs. She is responsible for ensuring that every student on VRHS’ campus actively constructs and contributes to their Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAP) through a progression of classes called Pathways. Sarah was awarded Teacher of the Year at VRHS in 2015. Prior to her current role, Sarah was an 11th grade American literature teacher and has served as academic advisor in the counseling office and lead mentor on campus, working with new staff members. Sarah earned a BA in English and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
