Shan-Lee Liu is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Shan-Lee teaches Chinese to grades 7 to 12 at the Boston Latin School in Boston, Massachusetts. She has served on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association and of the New England Chinese Teachers Association. She served as a Fulbright-Hays Chinese Language Pedagogy Assessment Project educator and has received the Adobe Youth Voices Creative Educator Award in 2015. Shan-Lee earned her BA in Political Science from Soochow University in Taiwan and her MA and PhD in Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
