Dylan D. Smith is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Dylan is an AFJROTC Aerospace Science Instructor at Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Texas. He teaches leadership and education as well as military drill and physical fitness and sponsors military color guard, military drill, and drone teams. He has held key military jobs and diplomatic positions at the flight, squadron, group, and deployed joint command levels as well as United States embassies. Dylan graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with AA degrees in logistics management and information technology. He earned his AA/BA in management studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus; MS from Walden University in leadership; and MEd from Lamar University in educational administration. Dylan is a current doctoral student studying curriculum and instruction/instructional design and technology at Liberty University.
