Sydney Grice is a 2020-21 Texas Policy Fellow. She teaches 5th grade English and Language Arts at Ripley House Charter School in Houston, TX where she also serves on the Teacher Leadership Board. Sydney is currently completing her graduate studies in Elementary Education at Johns Hopkins University. She is the recipient of the Humanities Texas Outstanding Teaching Award and received TACA’s 1st Place Intern of the Year Award. She graduated with an BA in Political Science with minors in History and Journalism from North Carolina State University.
